Share the love .... ahhh. Do you feel all warm and fuzzy? Being loved by someone is really special. It’s probably the best feeling ever – loving and being loved back.
But love is not just about feelings. At ANGLICARE Sydney we believe love is an action.
We love others, even when it’s tough, because it’s what Jesus wants and it is actually a huge joy!
In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 22, Jesus says the most important thing you can do with your life is to love God with all your heart, soul and mind AND love your neighbour as yourself.
Caring for others is a way to glorify God and to show the world that Jesus is worth following. Basically, it’s how God wants us to live.
That’s why ANGLICARE Sydney works with families struggling to pay their bills, people escaping violence, refugees, teenagers who are homeless, people with a disability ... you name it, we do it.
Because we love God and want to love others as a way of glorifying Him.
At the end of the day who gives a stuff what you wear or what you look like or how successful you are – it’s how you loved that will really count to God.
